Although my parents are just around the corner - I feel so sad. I miss my parents, and its not the same not going home to my "Home". My new house has my stuff in it, but none of it is familiar to me anymore. I just want to lay in bed all day and cry. Mum and Dad said nothing has changed, I just go to a different place to sleep. But I cant help but feel life as I knew it is over and want to throw up all the time. Im 30 and I have just moved into my own house for the first time. Quinolones have destroyed my life. Almost 8 years ago I as given high doses of Cipro with Vioxx (a powerful NSAID). It is well documented and has been well documented since the early 1990's never to prescribe quinolones with NSAIDS because of the potential for brain damage. I suffer with hellish, constant, disabling anxiety, panic, depression, tinnitus, insomnia. I lost a 6 figure job with a fortune 500 company, and a 12 year marriage. I'm so sick, I cannot even raise my daughter. She was only 6 when I was brain injured and now she's 14. I've missed so much of her life. I am on a lot of benzodiazapenes to help with anxiety, although they don't work well anymore. I was off all drugs, for the most part, for FIvE YEARS and had minimal relief, My ears still rang very loud, my anxiety was high, I couldn't sleep, I had trouble taking care of myself. I was in trouble with the law several times due to anxiety fueled episodes, I needed to do something to stop the craziness and started using opiates and benzos to calm down. It's been almost 4 years since I began using these drugs, and I'm worse than ever. I had pneumonia 2 years back and was given Zithromax, Cephtin, Doxycyclene, Augmentin and Bactrim to treat it. I had two serious bouts of pneumonia. I didn't know that with my brain as injured as it was, taking ANY antibiotics would further the original brain damage. Before all this, I had no mental problems, worked on IBM mainframes in a very high pressure environment - was able to multitask to unbelievable levels.
